As part of Eight to Infinite, a new collaborative project between Afrodeutsche and research curator Alex Jovčić-Sas,

this performance combines archival material, contemporary digital compositional tools and live dance

to retrace Grunow and Oram’s contributions to optical sound – a process for composing music focused on colours and shapes.

While both remain overlooked within their respective institutional histories, this project brings to life their unique and rich compositional practices.
